Washing Instructions For DTF Transfer
Turn inside out: Turn the clothing inside out before washing to reduce friction and preserve the print.
Use cold water: Use cold or cool water to preserve colors and prevent shrinking. Warm or hot water can cause fading or damage the print.
Use mild detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent. Avoid detergents with bleach, "whitening" additives, or "brightening colors".
Avoid fabric softeners: Fabric softeners can harm the fabric and print, and make it harder to remove dirt and odors.
Choose a gentle cycle: Use a gentle or delicate cycle with a lower spin speed.
Air dry or use low heat: Avoid using a tumble dryer or high heat, which can damage the fabric and print.
Avoid direct sunlight: Sunlight can fade the print.
Iron inside out: Iron the clothing inside out on low heat. You can also use the steaming option to help the print stay put.
Wash with like items: Wash DTF clothing with similar items to prevent friction.
Don't wash too often: Avoid washing the clothing again right after washing it. Wet fibers are more likely to stretch and break.
